An awareness programme on adverse effects of single use plastic on human life as well as on nature was organised at St. Vincent Pallotti College on 1st October 2019. Dr. Ananya Mishra, Vice President of JCI and an active member of Green Army was the chief guest of the occasion. The awareness programme was organized in AVA Room of St. Vincent Pallotti college. All teachers and students of college actively participated the programme. A power point presentation was displayed to the audience showing the negative effects of plastic to nature, animals and human beings.
Principal of College, Dr. Kuldeep Dubey gave motivational speech and inspired all to discourage use of plastics. Dr. Ananya Mishra administered oath to the participants towards conservation of nature and reduce use of plastic products. All the staff members and students took pledge to discard use of plastic materials in daily life to protect nature from its ill effects.
